Seed of Life Moonstone Earrings

Seed of Life Earrings, with Oval Moonstones wire wrapped to the front. Moonstone is found in many places, including Madagascar, Australia, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Germany, Switzerland, and India. All these places have white varieties of moonstones, however India specifically has more color varieties of the stone. Moonstone is an orthoclase-feldspar infused stone formed in volcanic and sedimentary rock. When cooled, its minerals are layered, and depending on the way the light diffracts through the layers determines the stones colour of adularescence.
